Wat Phuttharam is a large complex of traditional Thai architecture. The temple features two large Chedis (spires), several pavilions, and a large open courtyard as well as several smaller viharns (halls). In the center of the courtyard stands the main Ubosot, a sanctuary containing a number of highly revered Buddha images. Wat Phuttharam

History:
Wat Phuttharam is believed to have been founded sometime in the late 18th century by King Rama I. It was originally located outside the gates of Bangkok, but was moved inside the city following the fall of the old capital cities of Sukothai and Ayutthaya.
