Tham Phum Overview
Tham Phum is a limestone cave situated near Kamphaeng Phet town in northern Thailand. The cave, which is more than 1,000 metres long, houses a number of spectacular rock formations, including some impressive stalactites and stalagmites. The entrance to the cave is at the bottom of a small hill, and the stalactites and stalagmites are clearly visible.

Tham Phum History
Tham Phum was first discovered in 1934 by noted explorer Dr. Sarote Sirivongvanich. It was largely unexplored for several decades until it was opened as a tourist attraction in 1990.
Tham Phum Travel
Visitors to Tham Phum can take either a long-tail boat or a motorbike to get to the cave. Bicycles are also available for rental. Entry to the cave is 500 Thai baht for adults and 250 Thai baht for children. The cave is open from 8am to 4 pm daily.
