History:
Phu Nhuan Church was founded in 1950 by Father Diệu-Bùi and Father Jacques Phu, who dedicated the church to the Virgin Mary. Before the church was established, Catholics of the area had to attend mass in private homes due to the restrictions placed on religion by the French occupation. After the end of French rule in 1954, the area surrounding the church began to develop and the parish grew exponentially.

Phu Nhuan Church is located in the center of Phu Nhuan District and is accessible via bus and taxi. The church is open to visitors every day from 8am-6pm and mass is held every Sunday.
