The Monastery of Mary of Thien Phuoc was founded in 2006 by Father Robert Thien Nguyen and Bishop Anthony Vu of Long An. The monastery serves as a refuge for spiritual pilgrims, Catholic monks, and devotees of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The monastery was built on an area of land donated by the town of Xuân Lộc, in the District of Long An Province. In the early days, the monastery was impoverished, but with the help of donations from Catholic and Protestant churches, the community was able to grow and thrive.
