Facts:
The pagoda was built to commemorate the Doctor Tran Van Ha, who was the most respected doctor in the city of Ho Chi Minh in the early 20th century. The pagoda is filled with gifts, figurines and sculptures made to honor the doctor. The tower also contains several relics of Buddha, including a gift of eye relics given by King Rama VI of Thailand. History:
The pagoda has a long history that dates back to the 19th century. During this time, it was known as Bao Quoc Pagoda, and served as an important center for Buddhist study and practice.
