The Church has experienced rapid growth and now has over 530 churches and 175 thousand members in the Philippines. The church is led by the Philippine Union Conference, which is the administrative authority for the church in the Philippines.

The Philippine International Church of the Seventh-day Adventists began in 1902 when a small congregation of thirteen members was organized in Tondo, Manila. Missionary Milton Downer was the first leader of the church. From then on, the church continued to grow and spread across the islands. Subsequently, in 1905, the Church had enough members to form its first conference, called the Philippine Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. This conference was later reorganized into the Philippine Union Conference in 1919. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Philippines.
