Evangelical Free Church Mission in the Philippines In Philippines: History,Facts, & Services
The Evangelical Free Church Mission (EFCM) in the Philippines began in 1901 by Dr. John W. Hotchkin, an American Evangelical Free Church Missionary and his wife, Martha, with a vision to share the Gospel of Jesus to the Filipino people. The mission has since then, focused on Christian evangelism, partnering churches, developing ministries, and providing holistic community development services. Through the years, EFCM in the Philippines has established churches, Sunday School, ministerial education schools, and Bible Institutes all over the country. The mission is also engaged in a variety of social services, such as providing medical assistance, free medical clinics, literacy programs, and disaster relief services. The mission's work has been mostly done through partnerships with local churches and other organizations, and the generous financial and staff support of the Evangelical Free Church of America.
