Holy Redeemer Church, Latin Parish In Palestine is a Roman Catholic parish located in the Latin District of the Holy Land in the historic city of Jerusalem, Israel. It is the first Latin Church of the Catholic Church to be established in the region since the Crusader period. The history of the church dates back to the early 19th century when a number of Christian religious communities belonging to the Latin rite arrived in Jerusalem. The first Latin Parish Church, named Redemptoris Domus (Redemption House), was established in 1881.
