Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Church In Palestine: History,Facts, & Services
History:
The Church was built in 1995 by the Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria and the Community of Bethlehem with assistance from the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Egypt. It is consecrated to Archangel Michael. The structure was built with white and yellow stones to represent the traditional Coptic style of architecture which is inspired by the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Palestine.
