St. John's Jacobite Syriyan Orthodox Church, Salalah is a church located in Salalah, Dhofar Governorate, Oman. It is the first Syriac Orthodox church in the entire Muscat region. This church was inaugurated and consecrated on May 18th, 2021 by His Beatitude Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of the Syriac Orthodox Church. The church is set in a four-acre plot, granted to it by the government of Oman, and is the first of its kind to serve the members of the Syriac Orthodox Church in the region. The primary source of income for this church is donations from its members and other philanthropic individuals. This church offers services such as baptisms, conversions, weddings, funerals, and pastoral counseling among others. It also offers a range of educational and enrichment programs for members of its flock. St. John's is also a part of the larger Syriyan Orthodox Church, which has its headquarters in Beirut, Lebanon. The congregation of St. John's is made up of over 500 members, making it one of the largest Syriac Orthodox churches in the Middle East.
