Raghavendra Swami Temple in Rustaq, Oman is a temple dedicated to the popular Hindu saint Raghavendra Swami. The temple follows the Vaishnavite sect of Hinduism, which is devoted to worshipping of the Hindu deity, Vishnu and his various avatars. Thus, devotees choose to offer their prayers to the deity through the rituals and practices prescribed by this sect. The main worship method followed in this temple is the pooja or prayer ceremony, which involves special rituals for offering of flowers, incense and lamps as well as singing of devotional songs. The pooja is normally done on a daily basis, with devotees going to the temple to perform it.
