Mookambika Temple, Muscat was established in 1995 and is the first Indian temple to be built in the Sultanate of Oman. This temple is the first edifice in the Gulf and the second in the world dedicated to Goddess Mookambika. The temple was built under the guidance of HH Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said and inaugurated by him in 1995.
