CSI St. James Church Muscat, Oman is an Anglican Church and is part of the Church of South India. It was established in 1980 when the Indian community in Muscat, Oman was expanding by leaps and bounds. The church was built by the collaboration of the then Anglican and the then CSI Church of Muscat to accommodate the increasing multi-cultural worshippers and to be of service to the needy. It is located in Ruwi, Muscat. Services are held in English, Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi and Tamil. A variety of activities and programs like family and children's Bible classes, Sunday School, women fellowship meetings, choir practices and other special events are also held here. The church also offers guidance and counseling services to all cultures and religions.
The church is also involved in various philanthropic activities. It provides financial and logistical support to the disabled and underprivileged, organizes medical camps and sponsors educational programs.Moreover, it distributes food and clothing to those who are in need of assistance. The church is true to its vision to spread the gospel in tribes, tongues and nations.
