Brief History:
The Al Sininah Mosque is located in the north-western outskirts of Al Sininah, a coastal city in Oman’s Musandam governorate along the Persian Gulf. The mosque was constructed in the late 16th century CE, during the reign of Sultan ahmad bin Said (1583-1649). The mosque is constructed of local limestone bricks and is one of the oldest surviving mosques in Oman, and is an important example of the unique architectural style of mosques found in Oman. The mosque features a single-domed prayer hall, with two minarets and a single mihrab facing Mecca. There is also a central courtyard paved in white marble and decorated with ornately carved stucco. Inside the mosque, visitors can admire intricate patterns of Islamic arabesques carved into the ceiling. It is one of the most famous mosque in Oman which you must visit.
Visiting Hours:
The Al Sininah Mosque in Muscat, Oman, is open for visitors from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. On other days, the mosque is open from 7:00 am to 12:00 noon. best mosque in the world.

Via Airport: The closest airport to Al Sininah Mosque is Seeb International Airport which is just 20 km away. There are buses and taxis available from the airport for the visitors to reach the mosque in no time. Parking: There is a public parking lot right outside the mosque compound. Public Transport: There are several buses which ply to and from the mosque. The bus routes are: 98, A99, B99, C99, C102, and C103.
