It consists of three main sections: the main prayer hall, the iwan (a large room supported by a wall on three sides), and the mihrab (a niche in the wall that indicates the direction of Mecca). It is a traditional Islamic building constructed using local materials such as mud brick, stone, gypsum, and wood. Today, the mosque still stands as a symbol of religious and cultural importance, and continues to serve as a place of worship for the local community. The mosque was completed in 2019 and reflects a blend of modern and traditional Omani architecture. The mosque has a large courtyard with a fountain in the center, and the prayer hall is lined with four columns. The façade of the mosque is composed of a central entrance flanked by two towers with twin minarets rising from the roof. The minarets are topped with lanterns and the main entrance features a grand arch decorated with geometric designs. The interior of the mosque is adorned with intricate calligraphy and traditional geometric patterns. The main prayer hall has two separate balconies for women and men.
