Brief History:
is located in Salalah, Dhofar governorate. It is one of the largest and oldest mosques in the region. The construction of the mosque dates back to 1989 and was officially completed in 1993. It is a four-storied mosque spread over an area of 900 sq m. Around the main area of the mosque there are four additional minarets, adding to its majesty. The interior of the mosque is decorated with intricate designs and fine examples of Islamic murals. The mosque has a seating capacity of over 800 people. Additionally, it also has a huge prayer hall which can accommodate around 1500 people. The mosque is a popular place for conducting religious activities and is a symbol of faith for the people of the region. It is one of the most famous mosque in Oman which you must visit.

Al Manuma South North Mosque is a large mosque located in the city of Muscat, Oman. It was designed by architect Ajmal Zain who was inspired by the ancient Hindu temple architecture of India. The mosque features a central dome which is the tallest in Oman and three minarets. The interior of the mosque is decorated with intricate geometric patterns and floral motifs. The mosque has a large open courtyard with rows of ablution basins for Muslim ritual purification. The exterior walls of the mosque are faced with white marble and the domes are decorated with intricate mosaic patterns. The mosque is the perfect combination of traditional Islamic architecture and modern design. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
Visiting Hours:
The visiting hours for the Al Manuma South North Mosque in Muscat, Oman are Friday and Sunday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. On Saturday, the visiting hours are from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. It is important to note that women are not allowed inside the Mosque, though they are welcome to go into the courtyard. best mosque in the world.
