The nearest airport to the mosque is Muscat International Airport, located approximately 26 km away. The mosque can be accessed by private taxi or bus from many locations throughout Muscat. The nearest bus station is the Sikak Al Mawaleh station, located about 4 km away. The mosque is open daily for prayer, with Jummah prayer on Fridays at 12:30 pm. After the prayer, visitors are welcome to tour the mosque and enjoy its rich Islamic heritage. Visitors are expected to dress modestly, and to cover their heads when entering the mosque.
