The interior of the mosque consists of a large prayer hall with an octagonal mihrab, which is a semicircular niche that indicates the direction of Mecca, and a magnificent golden chandelier that hangs from the dome’s apex. The mosque also features a large courtyard with ornate marble balustrades and a water fountain that serves to provide refreshment to the faithful.
