The Mosque has three main domes with a smaller fourth dome located at the entrance, and is made from locally sourced materials, such as sandstone and gypsum. The Mosque also has a large courtyard, which is accessed via a wooden frame that acts as a partition between the main prayer room and its entrance. This allows worshippers to come together while still remaining separate and comfortable during prayers. The interior of the Mosque is finished with the finest of Omani carpets, and there is also a dazzling chandelier that hangs in the centre of the main dome.
