Worship Method:
Gansehthan Mandir is one of the oldest Hindu temples in Nepal. Worship at the temple involves rituals and offerings as prescribed in Hinduism. Upon entering the temple, worshipers offer items such as water, ginger, honey, and flowers to the deity. They then light a candle or diya before passing through each gateway and circumambulating the inner sanctum on the mandir's temple platform three times. Afterwards, worshipers may perform specific rituals and prayer ceremonies, such as the Ganesh Puja, or seek blessings from the deity. Prasad or offerings are generally offered at the end of the ceremony, which may consist of food items such as fruits, sweets, and milk, as well as flowers. Worshipers also perform aarti, a traditional Hindu prayer ceremony, which involves lighting lamps, ringing bells, and passing the flame around those present three times. The ceremony is concluded with prasad being distributed to all those who are present. This most visited temple in Nepal
