The Full Gospel Church of God (FGCOG) is a Pentecostal Christian church that was founded in 1935. The church was established in the United States by Bishop Mason, an African-American bishop from Louisiana. The original mission of the FGCOG was to reach out to a lost and dying world, as well as serve as a cornerstone of apostolic power, holiness, salvation and spiritual guidance. History:

In 1935, the Full Gospel church first started with the Rev. Mason, who was a pastor, a bishop and an evangelist. After two years, the Full Gospel Church of God moved their headquarters and became an international mission with churches all around the world. In 1944, the first International Bishop and Patriarch of the FGCOG, Bishop A.J. Ojiese, was appointed. Through the years, the church has continued to develop and the FGCOG maintains a vibrant presence throughout the globe. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Namibia.
