Sandamuni Pagoda is an important place of worship in Myanmar. The pagoda is often referred to as the “Buddha Tooth Relic Pagoda” as it houses a tooth relic of the Buddha. The pagoda is said to be over 2000 years old and is a revered religious site for Myanmar's majority Buddhist population. The pagoda is located at the foot of Mandalay Hill and is home to many worshippers on a daily basis.
