Worship Method:

The puja and worship of Amarnath Cave Temple follow the traditional Hindu rituals. The temple has separate Hindu priests who are responsible for performing the puja. Every day the priests do the Puja and Aarti of the deity, Shiva Lingam which is located in a cave at the top of the mountain. The Puja is done with pure water and milk, Bilva leaves, a rudraksh garland and a garland made of flowers. The devotees offer flowers, fruits, incense, dhoop (which is a type of fragrance) and camphor to the Lord Shiva.
