The mosque is rectangular in shape and has four main parts: the sahn (courtyard), the interior prayer hall, the minaret, and the mihrab (niche indicating direction of prayer). The courtyard is enclosed by a wall made of white stone and framed by two doorways, one on each side. The sahn is surrounded on all sides by decorated walls with small openings and covered by a flat roof that is supported by arches. The interior prayer hall is divided into a two-level plan, with a ground floor and a mezzanine. There is a freestanding minaret which is constructed of brick and is four stories tall, with a tiled cupola at the top.
