Worship Method:

The worship method of Shri Murugan Bhagwan temple in Rivière du Rempart, Mauritius includes the fully traditional Iyarppu method of worship. The devotees are requested to offer prayers at the temple's sanctum sanctorum with folded hands. The prayers generally consist of invocation of Lord Muruga with aarti and hymns. The devotees sing the hymns of Sri Subramanya with a lot of devotion and dedication. After that, the devotees perform pooja and homam to the deity immersed in Vedic mantras. Offerings such as fruits, flowers, coconut water, and milk are made to the deity.
