The Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Nashik observes a daily puja schedule which follows a simple routine. According to the schedule, the doors of the temple are opened at 4:30 am and the deity is woken at 5:00 am. At this time, oil lamps are lit and the Panchopchar Puja is performed. Subsequently, from 6:00-7:00 am, morning Aarti is performed, followed by a Bhog offering at 8:00 am. After various pujas and Abhisheks, the temple closes at 8:45 am and opens again at 10:00 am. On the other days, the temple remains open till 8:00 pm, where in the evening Aarti takes place by 7:30 pm. After this, the temple is closed again.
