Khandoba Temple pilgrims offer worship through daily rituals, offerings, devotional songs, and traditional folk music. Worshipers come to worship Lord Khandoba in their traditional attire and offer flowers, coconuts, 'loi' (unboiled rice), and 'naivedya' (offerings to the deity). All the offerings are placed at the deity's feet. Some of the traditional devotional songs that are sung during worship include ‘Khandobachi Pahili Maharajichi Jai Jaikar’ and ‘Morya Re’. The other important ritual associated with worship is the 'Palki' processional walk around the temple. Devotees take turns carrying Lord Khandoba on a decorated palanquin. The palanquin is accompanied by a festive procession of devotees carrying 'dhol', 'tashe' and 'dolki' drums and people singing and dancing on the tunes of devotional songs. This ritual is observed on important occasions, such as the birthday of Lord Khandoba and festivals like 'Maha Shivaratri'.
