It is one of the oldest churches in the area and is still used to this day for weekly services and special events. The original structure dates back to 1794 and was built in a Neo-baroque style. The interior of the church is noted for its brightly colored walls, decorated ceiling, and an altar featuring a 20-foot painting of the Crucifixion. The church also hosts a monthly event called “Kaba Night”, which is devoted to traditional Latvian folklore and culture.
