The Arraya Tower is the tallest building in Kuwait, standing at 306 meters (1,004 feet). It was constructed between 2005 and 2010 as part of the Arraya Complex, owned by KGL Investment House, a Kuwait-based private equity firm. The tower was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the same architectural firm that designed the Burj Khalifa and the Petronas Twin Towers. The construction of the tower began in 2005 after KGL Investment House purchased the land from the Kuwaiti government through a government privatization program.
