Devotees of the Nimbark Peeth Temple follow a distinctive worship method known as 'Nimbark sampradaya'. The sampradaya venerates Lord Krishna and the gopis as the divine couple and worships them in three forms, namely, Svayam Bhagawan (Lord Himself), His Manifestation (Arcavatara) and His Avatar (Avesha). The specific worship method at the Nimbark Peeth Temple is a unique one, wherein devotees assemble at the temple before sunrise. They sit in a circle and chant the thousand holy names of Lord Krishna in the Nimbark manner. Thereafter, a special arati is performed with the seven mantras. After having invoked Lord Krishna, the devotees chant hymns from the Nimbarka Bhashya. The puja is followed by aartis, homas and a special offering for the divine couple of Radha and Krishna.
