Hammam as-Sarah is a traditional Moroccan bathhouse situated in the old medina (old city) of Marrakech in Morocco. It dates back to the 12th century and was used as a place of cleansing, relaxation and socializing. The Hammam as-Sarah includes two separate changing rooms, a hot room and cold room. The hot room is heated by a wood burner and is the ideal place to relax after a long day. While in the cold room, guests can enjoy a massage, steam bath or a scrub with special black soap.
