Worship Method:

The main worship method at the Dargah of Baba Reshi in Jammu and Kashmir involves offering prayers and making edicts (charity). Pilgrims come to the dargah in the morning and afternoon to offer their prayers. It is believed that the prayers are answered and the wishes of devotees fulfilled. The Sufis, who are devotees of Baba Reshi, perform the traditional Qawwali (devotional songs) and Dhamaal (chanted prayers). They gather together to chant these prayers and sing the praises of Allah and the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Moreover, devotees also bring along offerings such as sacrificial animals, flowers, incense and sweets. These offerings are distributed among the poor inmates of the dargah. The tomb of the Baba is covered with Sindoor (vermillion) and flower petals. During festive occasions and religious cereminies, special prayers are offered here.
