The Greater Selby's Temple African Methodist Episcopal Church is a historic African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church in the Selby neighborhood of St. Paul, Minnesota. Founded in 1896, it is the oldest congregation of African Americans in the state and one of the oldest AME churches in the country. The church has a long history of providing religious, educational, and social services to the African American community in St. Paul, including during the Great Migration of African Americans from the South. The church's building and grounds are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The church offers Sunday services, Bible studies, and other activities and events that are open to all and serve to strengthen the Selby community.
