Generations Church is a non-denominational Christian church located in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. It was founded in 1994 by pastors Bill and Buffy Avery, who continue to serve as lead pastors today. The church has rapidly grown from its beginnings as a home Bible study to become a thriving church with over 5,400 members. Generations Church History Generations Church was founded in 1994 after Pastor Bill and Buffy Avery began a home Bible study in their home with five to six members. By 1997, the church had grew to include more than 420 members and their first building, a former drug store, was purchased in the same year. Since then, the church has had seven building locations and its current facility in Louisville, Kentucky. In 2012, Generations Church launched their LifeGroups program, a small group ministry aimed at creating deeper connections between members and building a sense of community. Generations Church Services Generations Church offers various services throughout the week including Sunday Worship service and LifeGroup meetings. Mid-week services such as Women's Bible Studies, Men's Fraternity, Youth Programs, and Kids Clubs are also available. Additionally, the church also hosts special events throughout the year such as bible studies, mission trips, holiday parties, conferences, and more.
