The shrine is renowned as one of the best examples of Persian-Islamic architecture in Iran. The shrine is built around a courtyard, which is enclosed by a wall with three iwans. The entrance iwan leads into the sanctuary, which is the main part of the complex and is centered around the tomb of the brothers. The tombs sit in a larger room, which is intricately decorated with tilework, mosaic, and stucco relief. The walls of the room are covered with intricate English and Persian poetry written in calligraphy, and the ceiling is covered in fayence and gilded muqarnas. The shrine is further adorned by a two-story qibla iwan with gilded woodwork, an ablution pool of vaults, a domed hall (deraaz), a number of smaller rooms, a pavilion, and residential rooms for visitors. The prayer area can be accessed from the first floor. The complex is surrounded by beautiful gardens with cypress and orange trees. It also houses a museum containing ancient artifacts, textiles, and paintings related to the Islamic religious figures. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
