Kristen Indonesia Church (GKI) congregation Terate is a Protestant Reformed Church located in Cirebon, Indonesia. The congregation began in 1951 as the Gereja Kristen Indonesia, a nation-wide Indonesian Reformed Church first founded in 1949. The Terate district consists of four geographic regions that were previously part of the Gereja Kristen Indonesia: Cirebon, Terate, Indramayu and Karawang. The GKI Terate is part of the Indonesia Reformed Churches movement and is recognized by the Arminian Church of Indonesia, The Christian Reformed Church of Indonesia and the Protestant Church of Indonesia.
The church provides a variety of services, including worship services, Bible studies, family and social activities. Additionally, the church provides financial aid, education scholarships and health care to its members. The congregation also supports missions and outreach efforts both in Indonesia and in other countries. Every Sunday, the congregation offers three different services: Indonesian (sung), English (sung) and Bible teaching/preaching. The congregation also meets during the week for various activities.
