The mosque is made up of two large domes, representing the heavens, while the smaller dome at the entrance is a representation of the earth. The main dome is 26 meters in height. The interior is adorned with intricate patterns and ornamental carvings in the style of Javanese-Hindu architecture. The main prayer hall inside the mosque can accommodate up to 4,000 worshippers. The halls are connected to each other with a set of wide stairs, which are also decorated with intricate paintings. The center of the mosque has a courtyard which contains a mihrab (a niche indicating the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca). The exterior of the mosque is decorated with stucco in a traditional floral pattern, while the minarets feature traditional ornamental carvings.
