Overview:
mb of Nizam-ud-din is located in Delhi, India, in the area of Nizamuddin on the banks of the river Yamuna. It is the final resting place of the 14th-century mystic and Sufi saint, Nizamuddin Auliya. The tomb, which was commissioned by Muhammad bin Tughluq and completed in 1325, is located a few yards away from Humayun's tomb and adjoins it to the North. The tomb is mostly visited by devotees of Nizamuddin Auliya. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The tomb is constructed in an octagonal shape and is surrounded by a wall and minarets. It features intricate floral motifs as well as inscriptions from the Qur'an.
