Overview:
Shaikh Farid was an eminent Sufi Saint of the Chishti Order who lived in Punjab during the 13th century. He is revered greatly by the locals as well as Muslims from other regions. His tomb is located near the city of Pakpattan, Pakistan and is one of the holiest shrines in South Asia. History:
The tomb is a two-storied building made of baked bricks, which is quite unusual for the area. Inside the tomb, the single room shrine contains artifacts and paintings associated with Shaikh Farid.
