Rani Lakshmibai Temple is an ancient temple situated in the district of Vidisha in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is dedicated to Rani Lakshmibai, the 23rd Fabulous Queen of Jhansi. The temple is said to have been built around 1870 by a group of devotees. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
Rani Lakshmibai temple is a magnificent structure of red and white stone. It houses the idol of Rani Lakshmibai adorned with a crown and jewellery encircled with a halo of light. Other idols of Hindu gods, namely Lord Hanuman, Shiva, Durga, Virbhadra and Ganesh, have also been installed in the temple. You must visit one of these historical places in India on your India tour
