Qadam Rasul Mosque is a centuries-old religious monument located in the heart of Multan, Pakistan. It is one of the eight shrines of Multan that was built in the honor of Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). The mosque is highly revered by Muslims in Pakistan and around the world, as it is associated with the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The distinctive feature of Qadam Rasul Mosque is its distinguished design and architecture. It is an octagon-shaped mosque with a large dome supported by eight pillars. It is said that eight stones were brought from the sky by angels and were placed in the foundation to mark the footprints of the prophet.
