Brief History:
Jama Masjid Palanpur is a famous mosque in Palanpur, Gujarat, India. It was built in 1743 AD by Saiyad Husain Shah, the Sultan of Palanpur. It is believed to be one of the largest mosques in India and is the major mosque in Palanpur. The mosque has four entrances and is made of abundant white marble. Its walls are decorated with many intricate designs and painting and is starkly different from the usual mosques built in South Asia which typically have a single large entrance. In addition, it also houses a large library which contains several old manuscripts and books. It is one of the most famous mosque in India which you must visit.
