Harsat Mata ka Mandir In India: History,Facts, & Services
Overview:
The temple is believed to be more than 450 years old and is situated in the Prempura village of Jodhpur. It is believed to have been established by Maharaja Jaswant Singh, the ruler of Jodhpur in the 16th century. It is visited by devotees from near and far due to its religious and historical significance. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The temple is made of yellow sandstone, which is typical of the architecture in Rajasthan. The main idol of Harsat Mata is flanked by two other small idols of Lakshmi and Saraswati. The mandap is beautifully decorated with traditional ornaments and small temples of Goddesses are also located around it. You must visit one of these historical places in India on your India tour
