Overview:
hamba-285 is a prominent architectural monument in Delhi, India. It is located to the north-west of the Red Fort near the Baba Kharak Singh Marg. It is a 14th-century mosque and burial chamber believed to have been built by the legendary saint, Khwaja Bakhtiar Kaki, a courtier of Sultan Iltutmish of the Slave Dynasty of Delhi. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The pillar is 40 ft in height and is made of red sandstone. Its walls, arches and balconies are decored with intricate stone carvings and scripts, while its interior is ornately decorated with patterns from the Mughal era. There are three entrances to the structure, which house an underground chamber. You must visit one of these historical places in India on your India tour

Bara Khamba-285 was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993 along with a number of other monuments in the region.
