Monjitas In Honduras was founded in 1977 by a group of dedicated middle class citizens, inspired by their religious beliefs to share what little they had with those in need. Founding members included Father Jose Guadalupe, Father Daniel Fuentes Padilla, and María Vivar de Fuentes,. Together, these three concerned citizens pooled their resources to create a foundation that would serve the people of Honduras.
