Iglesia De Cristo In Honduras is the national church of the country of Honduras. It is the largest denomination in the country and has a long and rich history. The movement first started in 1904 when Methodist pastor A.J. Orellana and his wife opened a mission school near La Paz, Honduras. Since then, the denomination has grown significantly, now boasting more than 1,200 congregations throughout the country. The denomination employs a blended teaching style of traditional evangelical and Pentecostal beliefs, with an emphasis on social justice and helping the poor. The church provides a wide range of services including preaching, teaching, youth ministry, outreach programs, and health services for the community. It also has an established network of evangelism and missionary work.
