Iglesia Bautista Independiente El Escano In Honduras is a Baptist church located in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Founded in 1921 by Pastor Francisco Espinal, El Escano Church, as it is known, has quickly emerged as one of the largest and most influential churches in the region. It is a bilingual mainline evangelical church that believes in the authority and inspiration of the Bible and is affiliated with the Baptist World Alliance. The church offers a variety of ministry services to help in the spiritual development of its members, from small group Bible study to prayer meetings, devotional study, and children’s Sunday School. El Escano also features a modern sanctuary, guesthouse, and an outdoor gym, as well as an active youth ministry. El Escano offers a variety of charitable services, such as providing food to the needy in the community as well as scholarships to school-age children. Additionally, the church hosts numerous missions throughout the year and sends aid to those in need around the world.
