First Church Open Bible Standard Churches is a conservative, evangelical denomination that began in 1923. The denomination grew out of a church movement begun in 1920 by pastor and evangelist Clarence E. Macartney and missionary Allan J. Andrews. The two men went on to form the denomination in June 1923.
