Vasa Baptistförsamling is a church belonging to the Finnish Baptist Union in Espoo, Finland. It was formed in the 1930s, and has been an active congregation within the Baptist Union from the beginning. Its members come from a variety of backgrounds, and many of them have relocated from other parts of Finland (or even abroad) to Espoo. Vasa Baptistförsamling was originally founded in 1932 in the town of Vantaa (on the outskirts of Helsinki). It was a small congregation that was primarily led by the pastor Taneli Nakari, who held Bible studies on certain occasions.
