Malmi Church is a Lutheran church located in the municipality of Espoo, Finland. The current building was built in 1949, replacing a previous wooden structure that burned down in 1945. History:

The area now known as Malmi was initially a village first inhabited in the late 1800s although copper coins found in the area suggest it may have been settled as early as the 14th century. The first Malmi Church was a wooden building built in 1881–1882 to serve the growing community. The building lacked a tower and was only extended in 1911 when the tower was added. In 1945, the church building was destroyed by fire and in 1949 the current building was constructed in its place. Malmi Church This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Finland.
